He liked to talk about Star Trek tech as if it were real, and his trips to the mall seemed to be focused on finding parts to repair his spaceship. Never before has such worthless crap been purchased in such ridiculous quantities. I have nothing against card games, I was once a hardcore MTG player. But Pokemon is such a bastardization of the trading card game genre that I will take any opportunity to ridicule it.
